Kristina Newton is the Founder and CEO of HYPE, a nonprofit that empowers historically underrepresented girls with technology skills and prepares them to become future leaders in tech careers. A Computer Engineer turned Social Impact Entrepreneur, Kristina has nearly 20 years of experience in the tech private and nonprofit sectors.

Kristina is passionate about empowering students to live lives full of hope, driven by love, and void of fear. Over the past 7 years, under Kristina’s leadership, HYPE has experienced exponential growth year-over-year in revenue, student recruitment & retention, corporate partnership, and impact in the lives of nearly 5000 girls internationally.

Kristina loves live music, traveling, and exploring new foods alongside her husband and son.
