Rob Owens, the eldest of three boys born into a military family, developed a broad worldview through early exposure to travel and diverse experiences. Now based in Atlanta, GA, he is a proud father and the founder of Dope Dads, a nonprofit that empowers fathers to embrace their roles as individuals, leaders, caregivers, and mentors.

Rob’s entrepreneurial drive led him to co-found Lasso, a performance compression apparel brand that became a category leader. He also serves as a Technical Product Manager for Georgia Tech’s Southeast MBDA Business Growth Hub, where he supports the growth of socially and economically disadvantaged businesses.

In his free time, Rob enjoys helping others, staying active through sports and fitness, spending time with family, and traveling.
